The Royal Oak Corsham

The Royal Oak in Corsham has been a pub since at least 1899. The name Royal Oak refers to the oak tree within which King Charles II hid to escape the Roundheads following the Battle of Worcester in 1651. Today the Royal Oak is both pub and bed and breakfast.

The Royal Oak
The Royal Oak is located in the center of Corsham. Visitors to Corsham may also want to visit nearby Corsham Court, The Almshouses, Saint Bartholomew's Church, or another pub The Flemish Weaver.
