The Penny Lane in Bath

The Penny Lane is called "Bath's favourite party boat" by its owners and is available to rent for corporate and private events throughout the year. Occasional river cruises are also an option but pre-booking is essential.

Penny Lane, River Avon, Dinner Cruises Bath

The Penny Lane was built in 1982 and refurbished in 2007 to give it a modern interior. The boat is centrally heated and features a well-stocked bar. The Penny Lane is 96 feet long and can accomodate 100 passengers.

Penny Lane, Narrow Boat, River Avon, cruises

A 3 hour hire of the Penny Lane includes a cruise which offers views of Pulteney Weir before the skipper performs a u-turn and heads off down the River Avon. The cruise continues through the old industrial part of Bath to the outskirts of the city, all the while the passengers are taking in the architecture of Georgian Bath.

Another option for those wanting to take a leisurely cruise on the River Avon but without the meal service is the Pulteney Cruisers. Visitors to Bath may also want to check out nearby Great Pulteney Street and the Holburne Museum.
