The Aeronaut Acton

The Aeronaut is a newly opened half-pub-half-circus in Acton, West London. It replaced The Redback, which closed down in 2012. The Aeronaut combines a classic pub with a cabaret and circus, situated in one half of the building.

The idea of the Aeronaut is that it is a tribute to George Lee Temple, the first Englishman to fly a plane upside-down, in the town where he was born.

A range of events are frequently on at the venue, including Swing Dance lessons, quizzes, cabaret and magic shows, circus acts and blues music nights.
