Green Man Festival

Green Man Festival is a small 4-day music festival that runs every year in the Welsh Black Mountains. It is one of the smaller events of the UK festival season, as opposed to Reading & Leeds, Glastonbury or the Isle of Wight festivals. It has been running for ten years and incorporates music, comedy, food and poetry just to name a few.

It is an independent family-run festival and has over 1500 performers every year, ranging from DJ's to authors to singer-songwriters and artists.

It is also the only festival in the UK which holds a 24-hour festival licence, meaning that the entertainment can carry on all throughout the night.

In 2014 Green Man played host to a number of great names, including Augustines, Beirut and Daughter. The 2014 festival ran for four days in August and was a huge success, securing the booking for 2015's event which will occur from the 20th-23rd August.

The festival site is incredibly easy to access by train as there is a free shuttle bus which takes you from the local station straight into the festival.
