Plymouth City Airport closed in 2011

Plymouth City Airport (PLH) was located about 3 and a half miles north east of central Plymouth, about a 20 minute drive.

The airport had flights operated by Air Southwest the short hop to Bristol Airport as well as Glasgow-International, Guernsey, Jersey, Leeds/Bradford, London-City, London-Gatwick, Manchester, Newquay, Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK and Cork and Dublin in Ireland.

Driving from Plymouth take the A386 Tavistock Road and at the Derriford roundabout follow the signs for the airport. By bus, Citybus (28A and 28B and 29 via the train station) and First Bus (83 & 84) services are available from Derriford roundabout and Derriford Hospital respectively, a 10 or 7 minute walk from the Plymouth City Airport terminal.
