Widecombe Church

The Widecombe Church in Widecombe, Devon is known as the "Cathedral of the Moor" due to its large size in such a small village on Dartmoor.

The church, aka the church of St Pancras, was struck by lightning during a severe storm in 1638 resulting in the deaths of four parishioners with many people injured.
