Mompesson House

Mompesson House was built in 1701 for Charles Mompesson. Mompesson House is located in the Cathedral Close of Salisbury Cathedral. Mompesson House is famous for its plasterwork, remarkable oak staircase, and period furniture. Mompesson House is now managed by the National Trust.

Mompesson House is open to visitors from the 13th of March to the 31st of October in 2010 from 11-5 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
