Clock Tower at Cardiff Castle

The Clock Tower at Cardiff Castle was designed by the architect William Burges in 1866 AD. Burges was a great lover of medieval Gothic architecture. The Clock Tower was a sensation at the time because of the colorful statuary and heraldry used in its exterior decoration. The Clock Tower at Cardiff Castle was designed for the 3rd Marquess of Bute.
