Torquay Harbour

Torquay is one of Devon's major resort towns and has a busy harbour backed by numerous hotels, cafes, pubs and Bed & Breakfasts along Victoria Parade and Strand.

Torquay's Old Harbour is full of yachts and pleasure boats and there are boats trips to nearby Paignton and Brixham along the coast as well as further afield to Dartmouth in the summer tourist season. Two piers: Princess Pier and Haldon Pier enclose and shelter Torquay Harbour and both are popular spots for anglers.

Places of interest near to Torquay Harbour include Oddicombe Beach, Babbacombe Beach, Watcombe Beach, Cockington Forge, Abbey Sands, Kent's Cavern and the Model Village in Babbacombe.
